Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens — kids get sick, schedules change. At the same time, consistent therapy is essential for progress, and missed sessions can’t easily be given to another child. Our cancellation policy helps us protect your child’s time slot and our therapists’ schedules.

  • Allowable Cancellations

    • One free cancellation per school term with 48+ hours’ notice.

  • Fees for Cancellations

    • Additional cancellations with 48+ hours’ notice → 50% holding fee.

    • Less than 48 hours’ notice / no-show → full session fee charged.

    • Example: Monday session must be cancelled by Thursday during business hours.

  • How to Cancel

    • Contact therapist directly by phone (voicemail OK).

    • Do not cancel via teacher, support worker, or email.

​

  • Alternatives if Child is Unwell

    • Telehealth session, parent consultation, or resource development offered where possible.

    • Regular cancellation fees still apply if session cannot proceed.

  • Therapist Cancellations

    • If therapist is unwell, session will be rescheduled or no fee charged.
